Mackin please stop posting after you smoked one the moves make the Leafs a better team. If holmbreg was so special why didn’t he play in playoffs last year and Robertson need a fresh start. If you’d read my post the cap problem was cleaned with the moves and salary retained by Hawks.

If Clb really wants to contend and want that veteran presence of Brodie, they might.
Can't see the Isle trade happening. Take out Lily and Dobson, and maybe you have something. If you want Dobson, take out Wahlstrom and the 2nd.
Dobson and Pageau for Willy and Lily.
I don't think you are way off on the Konecny trade. Nowhere near enough from Toronto.

Brodie might like playing that close to home, although he loves being a Leaf. Not sure Wings are in need him at this stage of his career, unless he signs an extension for a bit less and a couple more years.
Flyers aren’t taking that offer for Konecny.

Good choice but the Canes won't move Pesce as he is exempt. They are in a position where only 1 Dman can be picked up by Vegas; that is T. Carrick. The rest are UFA, protected, exempt, or expendable. For the expn. draft; they are sitting prettier than the Leafs.
They have ton's of cap space and will be free to do whatever they like.
What would it take? They could use a RW and a RHD.
They have depth at all positions down to the farm except RHD.
