Sign and trade Nylander to Rangers for Miller + Lafrenier. Makes too much sense so it will never happen.

It would be a good trade though I would prefer Kakko over Lefreniere as Kakko is a RW to replace Nylander on the 2nd line while Lefreniere is a LW, a position Leafs seem to have an abundance of at the moment.
I can not see Rangers trading Miller as he is arguably, already their second best defender after Fox.
If not yet he soon will be.
Perhaps Kakko and Schneider for Nylander would work though the discrepancy in cap in vs cap out would make it impossible for the Rangers unless Leafs agreed to take the 3 remaining years of Barclay Goodrow’s $3.6 million dollar deal.

Vegas has been the most aggressive team in the modern era. If there's a trade that will benefit them in any way they WILL pursue it. Having said that, I don't think they trade both Theodore and Pietrangelo with only Klingberg coming back on defense.
