I'd be interested in the Holl for Borowiecki trade. Other then we're trading a RHD for a LHD (if I'm not mistaken) . Which he have an abundance of, we're thin on the right side. Cap savings and toughness, solid upgrade. Kerfoot for Watson, I think they need to add. But adding a 6'4" forward is appealing. What about Holl for Gudas? Maybe a 3rd team retains salary. Thornton and Suban I personally don't have interest in.

2.) 17 Sep 2022 12:38:24
LOL
Why would the Leafs do any of these trades?
Not going to happen!
Did you write this for comic relief?

3.) 17 Sep 2022 18:57:52
You think Shattenkirk is better than Brodie? Lmao. This should be the Ducks adding.

4.) 17 Sep 2022 20:07:55
The shattenkirk one I find strange.

5.) 17 Sep 2022 23:51:59
I have nothing to say.

6.) 21 Sep 2022 01:07:21
Bizarre!

and then sign Patrice Bergeron for 900K

and then Leafs trade Kalle Loponen to Vancouver for Luke Schenn

Toronto Trades
William Nylander
Timothy Liljegren
Petr Mrazek

Nashville Trades
Michael McCarron
50% retained Philippe Myers
Yaroslav Askarov

Paco1994

1.) 18 Jun 2022 15:43:53
I like it, I prefer Tanner Jeannot over McCarron though.
The money saved will help go towards finding a #1 starter. Possibly resigning Campbell.

2.) 18 Jun 2022 16:57:28
I'd offer sandin over liljgren because of the leafs have so many lhd.

3.) 18 Jun 2022 17:33:46
Paco, I think you missed a few other adds from Nashville.
Please let us know what they are!

4.) 18 Jun 2022 20:47:09
Agree with Rsears on this one.

5.) 18 Jun 2022 22:06:42
Um. Nylander alone is worth more than that….

6.) 18 Jun 2022 23:14:20
McCarron and Meyers are 4th pairing/ AHL defensemen of which Leafs have an abundance.
Askarov is a completely untested rookie.
And Leafs should give up Nylander, a 1st line right wing and Liljegren for this HAUL?
That leaves a huge hole at right wing and right defense that you have not addressed?
I don’t understand the benefit to the Leafs.
Much easier to simply buy out Mrazek!

7.) 18 Jun 2022 23:38:03
I do feel Nashville needs offense, leafs want askarov. So Nylander and askarov are the 2 main focal peices from each. Maybe Nylander Robertson for askarov and glass/ tervonin.

at the draft
Leafs trade:
Amirov
Knies
Nylander
2022 1st round pick
for
the First Overall pick in 2022

and then
Leafs trade:
Liljegren
to Seattle
for 50 percent retained Jamie Oleksiak

Paco1994

1.) 29 Mar 2022 12:26:15
Since Amirov's future is uncertain, he wouldn't carry much value and I don't think you get the 1st overall for that.
I can't imagine that Seattle would agree to that trade.

2.) 29 Mar 2022 15:11:57
This draft and next all eyes are on what could be the next generational players. It would take a Lindros type return+++ to get Wright or Bedard.

3.) 29 Mar 2022 16:11:54
Nevermind Seattle not doing it. There is no way in hell that Dubas would do that to one of his players.

4.) 30 Mar 2022 02:17:34
@Loxley. What are you referring to that Dubas wouldn't do?

5.) 30 Mar 2022 09:02:54
Wright will no doubt be an above average NHL player, but generational? Bedard and Michkov in the 2023 draft would be those generational players, though Michkov under contract in the KHL till 2024 / 2025.

6.) 30 Mar 2022 21:27:16
@Kennedy it's more the perception around them both. It's hard to tell what either one turns into, but teams won't be giving up on either one.

7.) 31 Mar 2022 00:22:13
That perception is warranted in both cases, having watched all the players discussed. Related to Michkov and Bedard both in my opinion, are a better version of a Marner or a Patrick Kane.

8.) 31 Mar 2022 02:13:25
They could be, or they could be Nail Yakupov. Tough part about hockey is draft age and how much development matters.

27 Feb 2022 02:40:18
Leafs trade Travis Dermott
Canucks trade Luke Schenn

Leafs Trade Pierre Engvall and Petr Mrazek with a First round pick in 2022
Chicago Trade Brandon Hagel and Marc Andre Fluery Retained 50 percent (3,500,000) from Chicago and Arizona Retains 2,600,000 which then Fluery will be 900,000

Leafs Trade Alexander Kerfoot
Arizona trade Lawson Crouse

Leafs New Lines will look like this

Bunting Matthews Marner
Crouse Tavares Nylander
Hagel Kampf Mikheyev
Kase Spezza Simmonds

Reilly Liljegren
Brodie Lyubushkin
Sandin Schenn

Campbell Fluery

Paco1994

1.) 27 Feb 2022 15:29:10
Van should add as Dermott is younger and signed for another season.
Retention doesn't work like that.

just so all of you know i'm a huge fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
So know let's get everything started :

Number 1. switch Hyman's position to LW and change his potential to medium top 6 FWD if it's not already.

Number 2. trade Marleau to San Jose for later picks.

Number 3. trade Gardiner and Bracco with a few picks to St Louis for Parayko.

Number 4. call up Trevor Moore and Hutchinson then scratch Sparks.

Paco1994

1.) 14 May 2019 02:45:36
Hey Pacioretty. Glad to have you on board. I think most members of this site are huge Leafs fans. Welcome to the forum.

1. Hyman is already LW and has been for as long as I can remember.

2. SAN Jose cannot afford Marleau, even with Leafs retaining 50% (which is max allowed)

3. Gardiner is no longer a member of the team.

4. Moore has already been called up and is virtually guaranteed a spot on the team next year. Hutchinson over Sparks is a good idea.

2.) 17 May 2019 09:38:38
Lol number 3 is just bad really bad.
