I'm all over this deal. I really like Jiricek and still think he should have been picked ahead of Nemec . only time will tell.

@WB49. They may say no, but they are stacked on D and Liljegren is another young NHL Dman and Willy is a proven point producer where an extension is in place. Marchenko and Jiricek are both unproven. If Clb wants to win now, they might do this. It should make them think anyway.

It’s giving up Jiricek that makes me think Blue Jackets say no.
The kid has huge upside, #6 overall pick.
Blue Jackets have an abundance of defensemen but this deal has them giving up two RHD.
Maybe if it was one RHD and one LHD?

Also both Laine and Nylander are RW’s so one of them would be playing with Gaudreau and Fantilli while the other would be relegated to the second line.

That said I like the deal and if Blue Jackets like it then Treliving needs to get it done.
