Heard today on the radio and saw online that bogosian might be in play. Don't think buffalo will trade him to Toronto but I figured I'd put it in play since all anyone sees to care about is forwards and 2nd rate dmen. (Not sayin bogosian is 2nd rate)
Tor: bogosian
Buf: Gardiner(4mil)
Kapanen
2nd round pick this year (57th)
Not sure if you'd have to add another pick or prospect but you might just to convince Murry to make the trade. Maybe a second next year or third this year might be just as good.

Trading a top 4 Dman in Gardiner(26) 6'1" 197lbs at 4.5 mill who scored 7g 24a
For a top 4 maybe top 2 in bogosian 6'3 215lbs right shot dman who's scored 7g and 17a @ 5mill is a bad idea. If those stats make him a goon. Then morgan rielly better start dropping the gloves because he only had 9 and 24 last seaon.
As for the Gardiner for bogosian straught up. are you serious?.?.Right shot dmen who can play a top 4 role are hard to find. You're saying that he's as good if not worse then Gardiner. Who was -15 compared to bogosian -11. So my questions are when did those point totals make you a goon and I'm not sure what everyone else thinKS but are the leafs not looking for a top pair right shot dman to stay at home and play with reilly??

Just an idea, I heard terasenko might need to be moved or might move.
Leafs trade kadri, kapanen, 2016 pits and wash picks
St Louis trade terasenko and a 3rd or less qualified prospect.

Absolutely not, Leafs tried getting a goal-only type of hockey player once before (cough, cough, Kessel, cough) and that didn't turn out too well for the Leafs.
Stay the course, draft and develop. If we're making a 'big trade' this summer it's for Defense or Goaltending!

Kessel has proven he's a very good player on a very good team. Leafs with Kessel were a very bad team and yet he produced points with no support cast.
We do not need Terasenko. Leafs need 1 good d man and a very good goalie.

Doubt Tampa is hot to move Druin after these playoffs. I think it might be best if we don't add another under 22 player since we'll have around 6 rookies next season, and it may be tricky to slot both him AND Coburn into the lineup.

Keep Bernier he's worth another year. If he sucks again we get another decent draft pick (top 15) as a result of 2nd year of rebuild.

Draft 1st Matthews (c), 26th Filip gustavson (G), 31st pascal laberge (c)
Sign (D) Russell to play with reilly and one of (c) ladd/ (c) stall 2 year contracts maybe 3year to mentor Matthews
Trade away Komerov bozak and one of your prospects ex:Hyman/ kapanen if it helps you move up in next year's draft

Not really. He's only 49% in the circle and isn't very good defensively. At the same time he hasn't had a very good team but he wants to be here. So we may or may not have seen his full "potential" All we know about him is he's on a decent contract considering how he played this year.

He was in those situations because he's being groomed by Babcock. What people don't seem to realize is yes he was the best player on the team offensively and maybe defensively, but he was playing on the marlies. He's another bozak just with a worse face off percentage. If you put him on any team still in the playoffs, he's a 3rd line centre.

parenteau is leaving. Lindbergh won't make the team. Nylander will not play on third line. Marner will NOT play junior again. either with Leafs or Marlies guaranteed. Gardiner can't play on second and third pairing.

I truly believe toronto will ask way to much for the 1st oa. Just to start I'd want OEL and Arizona 1st or OEL and Strome.
Also Why does no one realize that our future number 1 line is already here
JVR Matthews marner
Matthews is the next Toews and marner is the next Kane. Forget stammer. He will only ruin the rebuild. I would take this line in 3 years over any nhl line right now. I honestly believe marner will win the scoring title in 5 years.
Just to compare
Marner ht-1.8m wt-79kg
Kane ht 1.79m wt-82kg
The only difference is kane had 20 more pts in the ohl at about 145 or so
Matthews ht-1.88m wt-88kg
Toews ht-1.88m wt-94kg
We are literally building the next dynasty. Don't ruin it by bringing in stammer. I don't think I've seen one post with this line. If I'm wrong please share.

I like where your head is at but it's a long shot that Marner = Kane and Matthews = Toews. A man can dream but in reality, that would be if they both pan out ABSOLUTELY perfect. Still think you could be right though, it's going to be a fun ride!

100 percent agree. 10 mil on Stamkos is a 5 mil dman and a 5 mil tender. Much bigger need then having 5 centers. Signing Stamkos is insane.

The leafs don't need Hall, but this could be a good move. Only for the simple fact that if we bring him to T.O. and he has a decent season, he could be flipped at the end of the year for a better draft pick or a #1 Dman.
For example
Let's say subban doesn't go anywhere this year and doesn't have a great year. I can see:
Toronto - subban
2nd round pick
3rd round pick
MTL- hall
1st round pick
Or somthing along those lines.

No way. Marner will play the wing beside Matthews. He will never be a 3rd line player unless he plays till he's 40. Try somthing g like

2c kadri
3c bozak
4c fill in the blank
The pens just won the cup. Why? Because they had 3 lines of offence. But you're not going to waste marner on the 3rd line.

No way any of these trades happen. Minnisota is not going to take on more cap. If anything toronto will have to do so. On top of that. The 4th oa pick is worth a boat load more than Cowen a 2nd and a 4th. Now with edm, why would they want more shitty players when you can trade one of their stars besides mcdavid + a draft pick and get a true #1 Dman. If anythings going to happen with tor and edm, toronto would have to part with one of Gardiner, marner, Jvr, rielly plus a first rounder.
