This may be a fix for the leafs and knights. As far as signings go anyway. I know Theodore has huge value, but I though I may work.

Theodore's an undersized offensive defenseman who has yet to play a full season and has not shown that he could be a top pairing guy. He doesn't even belong on the Leafs radar right now unless the price is too good to pass up. Not a fit needs-wise, and not even close value-wise.

I’d have to disagree with you on this one he’s not undersized he’s 6’2 195lbs he’s average size and he put up 29pts in 61 games not too bad I would say he’s top 4 potential and very comparable to Dermott

I would say that Vegas would have to offer Theodore a 2nd and 3rd but Vegas isn’t trading him he’s their best up and comer d they will try and build their back end around him.

Why is kulikov not and option for the leafs. he's a right handed shot. could play 5/ 6. he's better than marchenko or marincin. I think it's pretty obvious were not getting and big upgrades this summer.

oh yeah? like Dermot or nielson? or the two defensemen we got from Sweden? because they have a ton of experience playing guys like Crosby mcdavid or ovechkin. or would prefer get ride of a ton of picks a d prospects from a defensemen like Brodin . . remember when franson was on his first tour with Nashville. he was supposed to be a stud too! Brodin is not a sure thing.

Don't need to spend 6M on a LHD, there will be enough competition from within and Marincin as a fall back choice.
Like Franson as an option for 2 years @ 2.5M until Liljegren is ready (1 year sweden, 1 year Marlies) .
Carrick as a 3rd pairing RHD.

I believe this because Carrick actually has great analytics and I think management will want to see how he plays in the top 4. May not last but I think they try it out to start the season if polak signs.

so I don't understand why trouba gets as much credit as he does. watching that leafs vs. jets game last night he looked rusty. he was a -4 on the night. worst on the team.
I wouldn't trade two level a-b prospects and a first for him. low or not. look what we got at 17 last year.
think about if you posted
liljergen dermott, kapenen for trouba and a 4th. hmmmm
I think one of those players a lower prospect and a 2nd
kapenen, Nelson, 2nd
for trouba.
remember trouba may not sign with the jets.

agree about draisaitl not being traded. wouldn't make sense for Edmonton. but to say the only reason brown got points was because who he played with, your nuts. I believe brown played on all three top lines at some point. so really if he plays with any calibre nhl player he'll get points? sounds good to me. also what supports your theory that kadri will be on the decline? he's gotten better each year under Babcock.
