This is a completely revamped defense that will win championships is Korchinski turns into a top guy.
Goaltending is great and center depth is contending with best in the league. I’d hate to lose Knies but if Chicago gives us the option to finally create our young d core you have to take it: rumors are swirling about it too we’ll see what happens

Cowan definitely isn’t a center.
With luck Leafs can acquire a center to allow Tavares to slide down to 3C.

Macelli, yes I’d like to move him out. Joshua, I have a soft spot for. He was not 100 percent the season before last as he started the season late after having testicular cancer. Then this year he missed significant time with the lacerated kidney.
He moves well for a big man and has good hands. Instead of third line I’d like to see him as the man that clogs up the net area for Knies and Matthews.
