If Bobby Ryan available would the leafs take a shot at him.
He still a good player and surround him with good player he could be solid.
What I been reading from articles the sens would have part with there 1st and Toronto could draft another good prospect.

Even though Ryan did bad in this season, he played very well in send playoff run, this deal is just fleecing the send giving them nothing, ryan could have a bounce back season.

A few problems with these trades.
JVR isn't worth Hamonic and Pulock, and we can only protect one of those players.
Bracco, Brown and a 2nd is a huge overpayment for Schenn. I understand with the departure of JVR there's a void on LW, but Brown + Bracco + 2nd is nuts.
I would be real disappointed to only get 2nd for Bozak.
Washington found a gem of a player in Wilson, he's worth more than a 2nd. Don't look at his stats, he does so much more for them.

JVR isn't worth that much, he's 28 getting older and has one year left on his deal, he'll want a lot of money and for his age no team will give that much for him.

If Snow makes that trade Lou jumps for joy. Leafs still need Bozak as their third line centre so he's staying. That first trade is a huge overpayment for Schenn as well.

Harmonic for JVR is the right value, adding a potential superstar in barzal is overpayment for isles, JVR is 28 and has one year left who is going to want money long term.
