Don't think the leafs will be able to get a true top 2 or even 4 dman. Unless we look at someone older. How about?

The reason I think this is becoming more and more plausible is because Lou douesnt want to give up futures for a dman and that is a must tho year with the way the market is. Now I know everyone will say that the hall trade didn't set the market, but harmonic for sure raised it with 2 1st rounders and a second.

Now this helps because it gives Reilly someone babs know will show him how to play a certain style of hockey. Plus we get a conditional 3rd maybe 2nd depending.

Leafs don't need Kronwall, LD and why would we do that when we could trade JVR for atleast a 1st round pick?

I explained that we would do it to benefit Reilly and give us a reliable guy that we don't have to pay a fortune for. Plus babs knows him. Why would you ask a question that was already answered?

Why would you keep posting the same trade? We don't need LD, and putting a LD on the RD makes that spot a handicapped. If you ever played hockey you would know that it is not easy to play defence on you off hand side.

What's more of a handicap tho, kronwall or not being able to sign a RHD and playing a guy like carrickbeside Reilly or gardiner/ trade for one that is going to cost you a 1st and 2 2nd round picks. I think your better off with kronwall teaching our guys something then jvr mooching off of marners amazing skill and losing him for nothing.
