Hey Leafs fans have read that the blues and devils are willing to trade Pavel Bush and Toffoli and retain 50% of the cap
To make cap work teams must retain 50% of salary

He leafs fans I still believe there biggest weakness is the blue line. Here are some realistic trades to fix that problem.
First.
Leafs. Kovacevic
Habs Robertson
Second
Leafs. Roy 50 retain plus then sign on trade
Kings. Timmons sleeves 1st
This what’s needed more then anything is strong Right side on D.

LA is looking to add. They won't want dead money, cap dumps, or any such if they are moving anyone.
Biggest issue would be finding a hockey trade for them, while adding value.
I think it would have to start with Jarnkrok and add accordingly.

Savard checks all the box’s that what is needed on the blue line. The guy has won a cup
Leafs. Rutta and Duclair ( retain 50% of Duclair cap)
Sharks Lilly holmbreg 1st and 5th Canucks
Leafs get another 2players that check every box. That need for playoffs.
Plus both RD have term

Caveat emptor for Zegras; something is wrong and I’d be very careful.
Doesnt NJD need a goalie? Jones would be the right price. Their D is not great this year so who really knows?

Hey Leafs Fans I been reading some of trades of blowing up the team. Can try one simple trade where we need to clean up and that defence.
Leafs Murphy retain 50%
Hawks. Lily and Robertson
Leafs start there and then see if we need a forward.
If Murphy is not the right D men pick. D man that plays physical and help keep the puck out net with decent contract.

On first trade for what the leafs are give up they better retain 30% of his salary
As for the second trade Zadorov should come in that trade and the flame should be retaining 30% of each of Tanev and Zadorov contract Leafs are Lily and 1st.
