On first trade for what the leafs are give up they better retain 30% of his salary

As for the second trade Zadorov should come in that trade and the flame should be retaining 30% of each of Tanev and Zadorov contract Leafs are Lily and 1st.

Chicago might bite for Niemala, a young RHD but why add Brodie?
The idea is to improve the defense not trade one defenseman for another!
Murphy is not better than Brodie.

A 1st round pick plus Liljegren for a 33 year old UFA?
Huge overpayment.
Liljegren is only 24, nine years Tanev’s junior with less than 155 games of NHL experience and improving each year.
A 1st round pick alone, for Tanev is excessive with Leafs having little chance of resigning him.
