Leafs adding playoff grit and experience in Pavelski, he's a warrior!
Oleksiak hard hitting tough dman.
Stars need some young blood.
We must have learned the last few years in the first round, that reg season and playoffs are different beasts... we have to grit up to battle the teams built for playoffs and who step up their games in playoffs.

Going into playoffs with out giving up to much from lineup and keeping cap in line but adding desperately needed grit.

I wouldn’t give up Bracco and 3rd for Simmonds. Simmonds is having a bad year. We already have enough depth, and our top two lines look pretty set. I can’t see him succeeding in Leafs high flying system.
Bracco is basically number one on Leafs most likely to be traded list. He’s an nhl level player that isn’t getting his chance on the Leafs. We have a lot of talent on the wing, especially RW. He is fighting for that fourth line spot against better players. I can easily see him trades at deadline. Probably as a throw in on a bigger deal.

That aniheim deal works for me. sure the leafs lose kapanen and timmy but hey ceci is gone as well. manson if he works well with the leafs system would be great but who knows if he will. guess noone knows until its trued. big luggy forwards who can't skate woummen paired with an offensta go. leafs have plenty to replace kappy maybe bracco can. lol.
Although kappy is great in his role so replacing him might be harder thsn first thought.

Most would argue that Manson has little value and Miller is a very old backup who also has little value. Personally though I still like Manson. Big, solid, defensive defenseman. I think he is exactly what we are looking for to play beside Reilly. Instead of Miller though I would see if we could get a more junior player that has upside, instead of an old guy that is finishing up his career.

Love to have Manson alot. maybe miller instead of Richie to backup down the stretch. then get josh Anderson from columbus.
