Since vesey is gone leafs should get rid of JVR for Dal Colle and Pulock. Toronto maybe throws in a 7th.

We have 0 left wingers then. Kerby Rychel should start 3rd-4th line and Dal Colle isn't ready for top 6 yet.

I like it! Although, not sure the Isles trade both prospects, however could see Dal Colle and 2017 1st.
The Leafs still have Lupul who at this point is not going anywhere. Play him and try and increase his value. Or they can use Komarov or Michalek.
The Leafs are NOT going to be good this year. One more year of really tough pain watching crap at least.

The leafs should hang on to JVR for now. If they feel they need to trade him do it at the trade deadline where they can maximize his value. If Tor is planning to tank this year then trade him now for the best package of prospects and draft choices they can get.

I would like to add that Lupul under no circumstances will be playing with the Leafs this year. Babcock will not let him take the place of a younger player. also if anyone remembers his locker stall was taken and given to someone else as well as he wasn't a part if the year end team pictures!. tell ya something:)

i'm sure they can find a better backup than Sparks. Wings not likely to part with 1st pick and Mantha, and they won't want Bozak's contract if they are going to take a shot at Stamkos.

Bozak (valuable) with 3 spare parts for 2 firsts and datsyuk contract. No chance.
The JVR for trouba suggestions throughout this site. I think there is some kind of trade in there somewhere.
Problem is trouba is their best sub 25 year old dman. Not sure they are looking to move him so quickly. Buff is solid, Meyers is inconsistent but solid, enstrom and Stuart r 31. They might be more willing to move Meyers to someone and sign trouba.
