The 2026 1st is minny being smart as this would be the draft the first year matthews, nylander, tavares and marner may not be together
The 2025 2nd is minny being smart as this would be the draft the first year matthews and nylander could exit Toronto
The 2023 ott 3rd is to get something at this draft and since Toronto don’t have a 2nd and this 1st would be at end of 1st rd so since they get a 1st 2nd and 3rd why not take a gamble when leafs could be worse

The bottom 6 is probably top 10 in nhl and not this teams problem
Matthews will get going after game 13 like last 3 years
Marner once he realizes he is an adult will get back to his normal much like last year
Bunting will go as Matthews marner go
Tavares nylander Robertson will carry load till top line start playing then will decline in production significantly
Nothin to worry about. This is a team that even if players struggle have enough to get a playoff spot and once playoffs roles around it’s anyones guess
I think the D and goaltending will be the problem not the forwards
