Minny Dumba

Leafs Holl, Kerfoot (Salary), Sandin, Abruzese (can never spell his name lol), 1st

If Minny can't figure it out soon, they're in trouble. If the TDL approaches and they can't right the ship I see Dumba as available.

Minny has two boat anchors against the cap and needs cheap players of all kinds. If they decide they don't have it going on, then k would prefer Dumba to Holl.

Dunbar isn't the stay at home, physical D we all want, but he is more physical than anyone currently on the back end and has a better shot than Rielly for the PP.

Dunbar plays with Muzzin and PP1 while Rielly gets moved to PP2 quarterback.

If you can't resign Dumba then whatever. Holl and Kerfoot are rentals anyway and Sandin is expendable at least for this year and next.

Due to it being 3 roster players for 2 in the end minny gains .65 and Toronto saves .65.

The 2026 1st is minny being smart as this would be the draft the first year matthews, nylander, tavares and marner may not be together
The 2025 2nd is minny being smart as this would be the draft the first year matthews and nylander could exit Toronto
The 2023 ott 3rd is to get something at this draft and since Toronto don’t have a 2nd and this 1st would be at end of 1st rd so since they get a 1st 2nd and 3rd why not take a gamble when leafs could be worse

You could get 50% return, and use a other assest for someone to take a other 50% of dumbas hit leaving the leafs with more cap space for a top 6 LW. There several options available, possibly max domi.
