Leafs #1 issue is goal tending! Bernier and Reimer are flops year after year. I believe they need to focus on aquiring a "A" prospect goalie. Without a good goalie the Leafs won't go anywhere. Who knows Bibeau or Sparks may turn out but I think goalie prospects like Demko, Fucale, M Subban and Gibson should be pursued.
Canucks- Kadri
TML- Thatcher Demko, Vey
With the Leafs already having Marner and Nylander as the Leafs future C and possible Austin Matthews if we get lucky. Kadri can be moved for a huge upgrade in net and decent young winger in Vey. Kadri helps the Canucks get younger up the middle and have Kadri and Horvat to move forward with. Just my opinion but I think it helps both teams out in the long run.

I've said it before and now I'm starting to hear it more and more on the net but the Leafs need to stock up there goaltending prospects. John Gibson (Ducks), Thatcher Demko( Canucks) or Zach Fucale (Habs) would all be good targets!
What would it take to pry goaltenders like this from there respected teams? All 3 will be in the shadow of goalies like Price, Andersen and miller for yrs to come! We could even add Malcome Subban from Boston as well.
Bottom line our goalie prospect pool is the weakest link and needs too be addressed.

All those teams I think would want roster players in return other than fucale, a roster player who would be worth a return of a 1st.

I like it but rather have Holland then Lecavalier and Lindholm over a younger Lupul in Skinner! I like R Strome but I think leafs should keep the Flyers 1st and Holland over trading that for Strome

If not Matthews i'd like to see Tkachuk on the Leafs. Big skilled winger that already developed good chemistry with Marner!

Ryan isn't know Kessel at all. Your basing kessel's stats with Ryan's on Kessel's worst year since becoming a leaf. Ryan is a good player no doubt but u can't compare the two. I believe Kessel is worth more around the league then Ryan.
