This right here is why people think leafs fans are delusional. You managed to take players that have no value, and think you are getting 1st rounders for them. The leafs offered lupul for nothing at the draft this year and no one would take him, PA Parenteu had no offers except from Toronto, yet you think you are getting 1st rounders for them. At best maybe you get a 4th round pick,mprobaly conditional late round picks.

Wouldn't Carolina just trade steal for one of those packages since they are better then what the leafs traded to get them? How does staals value increase by becoming a leaf?

Trade does not make sense for isles, Okposo already is just as good as JVR, lupul is not worth the money as he is always hurt and grabber comes off the books this year for the isles. Spalling is an ok bottom 6 forward but not needed by the isles.
