Carolina gets better value for their cap space, and Toronto takes on dump and gets a decent D and a 1st.

Another chemistry trade making the team pay a premium
Toronto:
Hyman + Phaneuf + Matthias
Detroit:
Pulk + Sproul/Hicketts + Franzen (Dump)
Flip Franzen at dealine for a 2nd or 3rd.
Redwings get a top 3 D to add to their unreal D core, and future chem with Larkin, and a top 9 C/W. Leafs get a great prospect, a decent future top 4/5 D and a flipable player.
Might be too much cap though so probably wouldn't happen, just a fun idea.

This is a little outside the box. Was looking into Jeremy Bracco a little and apparently he had good chemistry with Eichel when they played together. Bracco is an unreal vision guy, and would compliment eichel one day up the road very nicely.
Toronto:

Maybe need to switch the 3rd to a 2nd? I think this helps both teams needs though. They get an AHL backup as Markstrom will be graduating and Demko is commited to Boston C. They get a very capable winger who will make a difference immediately, and a prsopect and pick. Leafs get a very good goalie prospect, and a great 2 way young C who can play wing.

Would love to see Horvat in a Leafs uni. London Knights ties and will develop into a stud. don't think Vancouver will let him go. Intriguing proposal. With the Sedins getting older and older and with only Jake Virtanen as a solid winger prospect with size, they would deffinently want JVR.

Well not sure what they're doing, depends if they're going to crash and rebuild or go for it. I think they would consider something like this, maybe another roster player like winnik or even lupul if they have the room instead of finn.

We still get it if pits makes playoffs in 2017. Worst case scenario its a 2nd. I'd rather trade it and let another team bare that risk. Realistically they're going to make playoffs.

I think JVR + 2nd would be worth that especially since there are still question marks around Gibson (like any goalie). Maybe if they throw in a 3rd. I'd target ritchie and gibson though

All those teams I think would want roster players in return other than fucale, a roster player who would be worth a return of a 1st.

Mathias and Winnik and polak will get you a second, depends on how everyone else plays. Frattin gets you a 4th on a good day.
