If possible yes from the TML perspective. Price for Hamonic would be greater I think.

Why is Hamonic worth so much to everybody? Gardiner has more value in my eyes.

Gardiner can still become a way better asset than Travis Hamonic but Hamonic has been a constant defensive force since being drafted by the Islanders. He's what Toronto hoped Luke Schenn would've became. As of right now Hamonic holds a lot more trade value than Jake Gardiner, who has been doing a lot better but because he's being held back from his offensive instincts so his defensive game develops properly.
