Unconstrained play. Needs to adapt his play to fit the team's.
Maybe it would work under Babcock. The Leafs would have to decide if he is worth the trouble.
If so, I would ship Laich to Edm instead of the pick. Edmonton needs vets to show the way (Lucic will not be that teacher). The Leafs could use the cap relief now.
At the end of the year, both teams can unload them if they want.

Seems very realistic without taking into account any free agent signings, if we sign stammer kadri goes to line 2 and bozak is gone
