That's probably what it would take to get Barrie. I don't know why everyone says that is was to much. It might be a bit of an overpayment but that is what it would take to move Barrie

Lose Dermott in the deal and Carrick in the expn draft.

Not going to happen. Trade Carrick instead of Dermott if you need to make this deal. It's better than losing him for nothing.

Evaluation is spot on I'd say. At least. that's what it would take to acquire him. Giving away carrick as well tho.? No, Dermott will probably never play more than 20 games in the NHL, we have Nielson coming and if we lose carrick is draft. in happy it's him not someone else. I wouldn't do this trade in a million years tho, it's what you'd need to rip him away. Too much for me tho

like wtf do you guys expect the price to be for a young, talented, quality right-handed defenseman? now i wouldn't want to give up nylander but that's beside the point. that is what a rebuilding team is going to be asking for. plain and simple.
