Toronto maple leafs needs to improve on its defense and Nashville predator can't score.
JVR, C. Brown and 1st rd 2017 to Nashville
R. Josi to Toronto
Maybe Toronto needs to add another player.
Josi is top pairing defense that Toronto needs.

I like Josi like everyone else here but the cost is much too high. That 2017 first rounder is looking like a top 4 pick. With any luck we land Timothy Liljegren. Stand pat say I.

Conner brown not and 2017 first rounder that could be top 5 or better no chance. Jvr and Bozak take pack sarary. Leafs have solid veterans that can fix Nashville scoring they just need to take back some over paid contract max this year and next. Mike fisher contract the leafs could eat. He off to decent start 3 goals and 1 assist but at 36 years old he is unstable with injury bug.

Hopefully, the leafs stay away from trading any of their yong assets. It is better to miss the playoffs, than trading for over rated and over aged players. They can aquire a RHD via trading JVR or Bozak.

This is probably the worst trade purposall that I have seen. Kadir is way bether than Landeskog. Hell no.

The worst thing that Maple leafs can do, is a trade to get them in to playoffs this year. It will be great if they can get to playoffs without jeopardizing their future. No short cut.
