3 way trade:
Toronto acquires: Tyler Myers
Calgary acquires: William Nylander
Winnipeg acquires: TJ Brodie
This is just a base but these would be the main pieces.
Winnipeg gets their top pairing/top 4 LHD
Toronto gets their RHD to pair with Reilly and round out their top 4
Calgary gets their top line RW
For each team these players are somewhat expendable and can be dealt to fill a need

Leafs aren't trading Nylander. Him and Matthews have been great this year. Myers has injury issues and leafs don't need to rush they have time. Plasterer leafs would trade are JVR KOMAROV BOZAK.

It's not terrible. all these comments of "Nylander is too good to give up" is exactly why other teams would actually covet him and be enough to pry a young Top 4 D-man from another team.
You have to give up something high end, in order to receive something high end.
I think the Leafs will wait until the summer, see who's available via free agency (and at what price) and if they can't land a UFA then they will need to consider a trade. JVR's value will go down as he will less contract term, so Nylander would likely be their most attractive trading chip!

Anaheim: JVR + 2nd Round Pick + Tobias Lindberg
Toronto get a RHD to play with Reilly and a good young C/ RW. Anaheim gets a LW to play on the top line and a high 2nd Round Pick and an almost NHL ready prospect. Winnipeg receives a LHD and a good prospect. They then have enough prospects that they could use some as trade bait. Toronto would have to clear up cap space to sign both RFAs.
I think it fills needs for each team.

Kadri wouldn’t replace Backlund on the second line so there goes that. Calgary already has a Gardiner type d man in brodie on the left side. Doesn’t make sense to break up their balance of left and right d men. Also hamilton is worth just as much if not more than Marner.
