Not a chance the Jets do this. Kadri is overrated and only valuable to the leaf fans and Lupul is old and banged up. Both would would be poor 4th liners on the Jets. Trouba is a 2/3 d-man and Pavelec would be a solid #2 that can hold down the fort until Sparks is ready.

If you think Kadri would be a fourth liner you're a fool because he would have been fourth in scoring on the Jets last season. The proposed deal is stupid, but so is your claim that Kadri would be a fourth liner.

But based on Winnipeg's current Center situation, they have no business picking up Kadri - as they already have scheifele and little
I guarantee you that Kadri is a top 2 centerman on 80% of NHL teams.
Once Kadri has some line mates to play with, you'll see just how good he really is.

Islandjet is clearly a jets fan and has no clue about what Kadri brings. I'd take Kadri over Little and Scheifele any day. Give him line mates that can play like Marner or Nylander and watch how fast your opinion changes.

Why are JVR and Kadri always being trolled on this site for so many good players on other teams if they are so valuable to the Leafs? I'm serious why? The Leafs should hold on to them and they will be worth decent draft picks at the trade deadline. The Jets don't want or need either of them.

It's fine to not want kadri on the jets and it probably doesn't make sense, but to call him a 4th liner is like calling Trouba a 7th Dman and then we know what you will say about that.

I think Trouba should shoot for 8-9 M over 8 years. Just go for it Jacob; all the teams want you!
Troub's the #1 Dman on the market. He shouldn't let the Jets tell him otherwise. Don't let them remind him of the 21 pts; remind them instead, that he was working on his defense to become a better player. That's why he didn't score at a better rate than Lupul.
And don't forget all the bonuses on top of that. Don't let them short change him, after almost maxing out the rookie. Maximum bonuses are mandatory in this situation. After all he was drafted in the top ten in 2012. Make sure Jacob front loads the contract.
Make sure to remind them Jacob, that when drafted(#9) there were only 6, countem, just only 6 Dmen drafted ahead of him, and that the draft was rigged in favor of Canadian and European players. And that's why Jacob wasn't picked #1 overall. (Groan in the background from Edm).
