Leafs trade Steeves Abruzzese 3 rd 2024 Klingberg

Columbus Provorov

I think this is more than Columbus paid for Provorov in Philly trade.

Columbus could play Klingberg a lot and hopefully get him to where he has value by the deadline. Klingberg career is over unless he plays well this season somewhere.

Going into next season the Leafs don't need Abruzzese or Steeves as Cowan and Minten are coming through next season.

Next year

This is just assuming Nylander signs. The Leafs can pay him whatever they want to. Filling out the Roster with Prospects that are really close to making the Maple Leafs.

With this roster I am paying Nylander 11 million dollars the Leafs have only spent $72 million

The cap next season is projected at $87-$88 million

I could see Kampf moved this year. At $2.4 million Holmberg can play center for league minimum.

@Clarky. Provorov was just a cap dump by Jackets. Leafs never intented to play him in this lineup. up to the rafters he goes to munch on popcorn and keep Tre company!

Yes David. You told me a couple of posts down when I said Steeves is 24 and time is running out on him to be anything more than likely a bottom 6 forward that he could play on lots of teams 3rd line. Now you are saying the Leafs don't need him.
