Spezza and Dubas scouting Minesota, rumors are Matt Dumba.
What are your thoughts on who would go back the other way.

Dumba ($6)
$6 million must go back to Minnesota.
Kerfoot ($3.5) plus?
Holl ($2)
1st round pick!
I would prefer to keep Holl if possible.
He is a good, 3rd pairing, RHD.
Engvall ($2.25) except trading Kerfoot plus Engvall would be sending away two left wing players with only Robertson and Steeves or another Marlies call up as replacements.
Not a great idea?
It would open roster space for Matthew Knies though!

Where did you see they were scouting Dumba/ Wild?

Anyway what should go back would like to see Wild retain 50% and we could send Kerfoot, Robertson and a 1st round pick. something like that. still opens spot for Knies and we could then even maybe pursue a deal for Meier. also 50% retained with a 1st and maybe Niemela. would rather try to sign Meier than give out 4 to 5 million for Bunting next year. if we could trade Brodie we would have plenty of cash to sign Meier and maybe even Dumba as well.

dumba not amazing on offense and sucks on defense, think Tyson barrie but he can throw some hits. Hard pass not worth assets and hes a rental.

@WB 6 mil doesn't have to go back.

They're close to cap right now by choice, Muzzin's space can still be used.

Please stay away from Dumba!
There are many better alternatives at less AAV.

Not really the move the Leafs should be making. Although CLB just re-signed Peeke, the right package may land him and Mikkola should be on the market especially if STL keeps losing. That would be my preferred targets.

No thanks and I would prefer to keep the 1st then trade it for a rental.
