Fantasy Blockbuster

To Leafs: Hamilton, Tkachuk
To Flames: JVR, Nylander, Gardiner, 2017 1st round pick

This is probably what it would cost to acquire these two guys, would you do it or keep our guys?

It's tempting and all because of how hard it is to get players like Tkachuk ( skill/ nasty ) and quality rhd but that's just too much I think. Forget about Tkachuk, that's not happening.
Leafs need a top pairing rhd and we're probably going to have to wait until after the expansion draft.

Tkachuk and Nylander could arguably go straight up. Similar offence, Tkachuk is better defensively but, has 70 more penalty mins this year. Even if you take out his fights you're looking at another 2 mins off pk a game. This is way too much to give up. Having those players would be great but not for that price tag.

Take out the Leafs 1'st Rnd Pick and I think it would be doable at three Leafs for Two Flames.

Thoughts anyone?

By the way, I don't see Calgary giving up either of these two guys - "D" - Hamilton and "F" - Tkachuk. Both are far too valuable to their team.

I'd much rather have Tkachuk over Nylander as he brings a physical presence as well as he can also score and set up plays the way Will does.

Also, even though it's a weaker Draft, I never want to see us dealing away our First Rnd Pick - you just don't know how things may turn out - might even be able to put together a package to move up and take a "D" or "C" to add to the Prospect Pool.

As a Leafs fan, I would go for it.

Let Toronto throw in keys to the city too. Too Much from Leafs; been there done that. Hamilton and 2018 2nd from Calgary for Nylander alone seems fair.

So unrealistic and doesn't make sence for both teams.
