Seabrook is still good. Like all Chicago, he had a bad year last year. As Kieth’s RHD, I don’t think Seabrook will be traded until Chicago is ready to give in and dismantle the dynasty. Six years at almost $7M is a lot for a 33 year old defenseman, even one as good as Seabrook. I think Leafs pass on this one. It’s a cap killer. lol.

In 2016-2017, just one year ago, the season prior to this one just passed, Keith finished fourth in Norris voting. A two time Norris Trophy winner, a Conn Smythe winner, and an integral component of the three time Stanley Cup winning champion Blackhawks dynasty. I’ve suggested numerous trades for him myself, but never have I so blatantly tried to rob Chicago’s grave as you are here.
At 34 years of age, Keith is a little older than most people on this site would care for. After the season he had last year, many have written him off completely. But let’s not forget, this same man came fourth in Norris voting just a year ago. He has five years left on a very reasonableness contract that drops dramatically starting this next year. I would trade for Keith still, but I expect Chicago will be wanting more than what you are offering.
