Yeah I don't think ducks do this. Petan is a decent 3rd liner on some teams and 4th on most. Barrie a rental and Timashov I actually like a lot but, isn't worth a whole lot since he's really only a proven bottom 6 guy at this point and even that is a small sample size. Would need a significant add to get those two.

But Barrie adds offence and could for sure be a long term piece for the ducks comtois hasn’t really proven much yet either so to say that Petan Timashov is not enough is just silly Barrie for Manson is a straight up even trade.

Barrie is a UFA after this year. No way Ducks do this. Maybe if the Leafs where to build a deal around Kapanen that would entice them. Manson is a great target and would look great with Reilly.

Agree with glimmo, Manson is a great target, just don't see Anaheim doing this. Anaheim are retooling and Manson is needed as their top RD and shutdown guy.

Could you imagine nylander pulling his laziness around getzlaf. getz is the kind of guy that can turn his career around. maybe if getz is the setup nylander can become the young perry aniheim could use. they are good keeping puck out of net because gibson has looked like a vezina goalie. add in 2 offensive guys like barrie and nylander and this team could elevate their season even more.

Manson is worth slightly less than what Montour went for. So a first and a decent prospect, someone like Bracco maybe. Depends on what Anaheim feels their most pressing need is. They have Guhle and Larsson in the AHL right now, so I would expect them to be wanting forwards.
