This may be an opportunity for Toronto

Tampa: Karlsson, 2nd (tor) Grundstrom

Ottawa: T Johnson, 1st (tbl) brocco

Leafs: Sergachev, 2nd (tbl)

I think all teams get what they want the only thing I can see here is Toronto probably doesn't want to let Karlsson go to Tampa

In theory this would mean the Leafs would only have to give up two players from the Marlies and a 2nd rounder for Sergachev? I don't think that's nearly enough. however it would be nice.

I think Tampa would likely have to give up a good prospect to Ottawa and leafs may or may not have to add but the base of it would be along these lines.

Ottawa is the big loser in this deal.

I can’t see a trade between three division rivals happening. Especially when Toronto makes out like bandits.

If Tampa wants Karlsson, they will be dealing with Ottawa directly. There’s no use for Toronto to act as a middleman.

How is Ottawa the big loser here they are not going to get a huge package for Karlsson they will get I good roster player and 1st maybe some other picks and a quality prospect. I understand that chances of this happening is not very likely but I think this is a fair trade for all teams involved but like I said there maybe more picks and on or two more players involved.

Honestly the longer Ottawa waits the less they will get for Karlsson.

Usually a three team trade comes from two teams who can't quite pull something off value wise and need a third team to help balance things out. Why would Toronto help Tampa get Karlsson? Gross. If Karlsson leaves, may he go West.

Sergachev for Bracco, Grundstrum and a 2nd (if I read it properly) would be outright theft on the Leafs part. Can't imagine that happening even in Disney World but get it done!
