Idiot

Did you see Leivo last night must move out JVR plus get defenceman and let Leivo play with decent players he isn't JVR but he can contribute in a big way. Only 23 years old and cheap.

Now David no need to call people idiots.

Also I disagree with you to ship JVR. With his skill level he comes cheap as well. Provides scoring relief for the young players and brings a veteran presence to the locker room (has been through the ups and downs with Toronto media) .

Leivo has had a tough time cracking the lineup due to depth and his own injuries. Seems like he has potential and I don't want to see him moved. In my eyes it looks like Bozie will be moved in the off season with Kadri emerging as a solid #2/ #3 center. Maybe even Kapanen or Nylander moved for defensive help.

I don't think Babcock really likes leivo. yes he had a decent game playing with 2 plumbers but once sosh is ready leivo will be back in the press box. Just my opinion.

Last night JVR 14 min Leivo 11 min pests see how this unfolds. Leivo is a cheap asset under control no one here seems to value him beyond me.

Davidmackin

R u F'N serious even remotely mentioning leivo (the "Frankie" of the forwards) in same sentence with jvr?

Any wonder why he can't get in lineup? He stinks.

Stop.

Move Komarov if you want to get Leivo in. He deserves a good long look. I doubt he'd play with lari kn our shut down line tho. There would have to be some shuffling.

David

LIEVO is a top 9 at BEST stop acting like he is our next star winger.

I agree the leafs need to take a good look at Leivo and see what he has. He is a RFA this year and they need to make a decision on him. Put him in a position to succeed and give him a stretch of games to find some chemistry. How about moving Brown to the 4th line RW ( his spot next year when Kap comes up), Hyman to his natural RW spot ( may improve his game) and Leivo on the LW. Might add some punch to both the 1st and 4th line without making any trades.

Long story short, he's a potentially good player that doesn't belong with the leafs. We are a fast skating team and he doesn't keep up. He's a big guy with a good shot but would be best suited in the west where it's a slower heavier game with more cycling.
