Nope. Columbus do not have another high end centre. Kadri is not a #1 and Gardiner is not a 1,2 D-man . at least not yet. Columbus took a D-man in the top 10 this yr. If they wanted a top d-man they could talk a deal for Seth Jones. We'd need to give Nylander in the deal. WHich I might consider, but it would be a hard deal as Nylander has no NHL time yet.

Was watching the world junior classic vs USA the other day. Wow Demko is a pretty good player.

Bozak is an almost PPG player this year on a not-so expensive contract, who can play up and down the roster. He's got crazy faceoff stats and is a solid player. Why wouldn't they? Move horvat to wing and you're rolling a solid top 9 rather than top 7 or 8. Playoffs requires depth. Another goalie is just to add to their AHL to round that out for next year, or to use as a backup if they have an injury.

More. With Komarov still under 30 and making less than $3 mil. showing he can add at least secondary scoring. Sh. disturber. If Minny makes the play-off the best you would be getting would be
a mid-3rd and mid 4-th. He'd be a good fit with Minny. St.Louis. Dallas.
Winnik got a 2nd and a fourth. I'd want a 2nd.

Agreed I think the value is there, but for someone who's still signed to the KHL for 2-3 years, he may not buy into the leafs especially if the plan is to have him in the AHL for a little while
