I heard leafs were offered a 1st for OEL. Magiapane would likely be coming back for cap purposes.

There are multiple teams wanting Oel. The Oilers don’t have what other teams have to offer. Leafs not going to take Mang ? to help them. They want to clear the cap space plus get a 1st plus a prospect.

Oilers want him. They r going to have to clear their own cap space. That's been reported. Cause other teams will offer that without the Leafs taking back a player with term.

If it was 1st 2027 Stastney and Henrique I would do it. Both on expiring contracts. Cap works. Now u freed up $3.5m in cap to add to the offseason. Money and draft picks is power.
