Phi: tomosino and our 1st back in 2027

Trade 2

Tor: Reilly maccelli
Sjs: leddy ( cap dump) 2026 2nd and haultunen

Still leaves the ability to trade mcmann and OEL.

I can see Philly agreeing to the first one Robertson is a player they liked in the passes and they need a goalie hildaby stings a bit but the Russian kid is younger and keeps getting better. We get our first back and tomosino who’s a young depth forward.

Second trade obviously Reilly has to waive but the sharks seem like a solid spot former leafs there up and coming team checks a lot of boxes we throw in maccelli too has been great sell high in return leafs get a 2nd this year cap dump leddy who is expiring and a prospect that lit up the ohl with Cowan 6’4 blue chip power forward prospect.

Don’t want to trade McMann. Call it a retool and go onto to trade McMann? Leafs trade this guy and he will be a top 6 on any other team getting many more minutes than he is now and putting up 50-60+ points while playing the right way and all you goofballs are trying to trade him for a late draft pick ?.

@clarky simple fact is mcmann isn’t worth the money he’s gonna want here 4-5 mil even so if you want to keep him have those talks and it simple we need assets and if you want to come back in the summer cool

@bliwhard you never have anything intelligent to say lol

@hrenklin martone is a elite prospect very doubtful you get him in any trade unless a top player is going the other way.

@Goat? I don’t see it that way. What’s Bobby on pace to hit 30 goals and 50 points and you’re telling me he isn’t worth 4-5M? Not to mention he plays the right way. All heart. We trade him and we will be looking for that exact player in a years time but they will all cost 7-8M ++. I do not see an advantage to trading this guy. He is getting better each year that he is in the show. Trade him and hope some middle to late 1st rd pick turns out to be something. OEL makes sense even though I don’t want to lose him. Reilly should be traded already, Maccelli, sure. But is this is a retool McMann and Knies should not come up in trade talks unless it’s a big overpay.

@clarky idk I’m not sold on holding onto him I personally would rather sell on him as he’s the best trade chip we got but I will say if the leafs don’t get a first or solid prospect I’ll be upset. but these trade have nothing to do with mcmann trade lol

@blowhard yes if I can move some depth pieces and get some value assets why wouldn’t you I get hildaby is looking good but the other two would be harder to move everyone wants to complain about empty cupboards but we want to pick and choose what we sell off….

He didn’t say McMann and Hildeby, he said Robertson and Hildeby.

Personally I would like to Keep McMann unless we are getting a young, roster player with upside for him.
Someone like Matt Savoie (RW) from the Oilers.

If Rielly is willing to waive to go to San Jose let’s get it done.
Taking on Leddy’s expiring contract while getting a 2nd round pick plus Haultunin would be great.
Even just the 2nd or the prospect would be be great.

Since 2022 - 2023 Leafs are 24 - 5 - 1 WITHOUT Morgan Reilly.

Tomasino was a 1st round pick, 24th overall.
He played well enough on his ELC to warrant a $1.7 million dollar contract but then fell out of favor with management.
Tomasino is a Right Wing and Leafs have only one (1) right winger, Nylander, on the roster.
I would like to see the Leafs give Tomasino another opportunity.
Robertson - Roy - Tomasino on our 3rd line might prove interesting.

It is my hope that Treliving will hold out for at least a 1st for McMann.
McMann is “money in the bank” for the Leafs while a pick has risk.
There will be a team step up with 1st I believe.
