I think is one of the more realistic Team oriented trade concerning Robertson. He gets a second chance with his old coach, He also gets a change of environment. As for Mercer this will help to build the youth movement.

This is the coach that he couldn't crack the lineup with and that is the reason he asked for a trade. I feel like the exact reason you said this is a reasonable trade is why it isn't.

Randy2 - I agree with you but the kid is demanding a change of environment. Then just give him the change. The grass is not always greener on the other side. This is just a LOL moment.

The kid can demand whatever he wants. He has little to no leverage. Sign a two year bridge deal and prove you’re worth more. Otherwise sit out and slow your progress.
