I think an interesting trade that could improve the Leafs would be a trade for Hoffman (Sharks) for Bertuzzi and Roberts. We are seeing a duplicate of Ritchie and coincidentally they both came from Boston as non producers. A change of scenery made a difference for Ritchie maybe the same might be a good thing for both Bertuzzi and Roberts.

I think if there is going to be any trades to improve the defense Domi and Bertuzzi should be the pieces on the block. The core is producing without them and defense needs plenty of help. These pieces so far have provided the least value for the buck. I am certain before the trade deadline there should be some snot out there available.

Why pursue a player who has NO interest,
desire and hunger to play in Toronto. Playing in the play offs with player with only on half throttle is not going to get to the finals. The current roster may have that hunger and you never know.
