I hear crazy rumors, the Leafs are going to keep Bozak and JVR.
The reason Jarnkrok is available is that he is now the 4th line center behind Bonino and Turris. Jarnkrok could be the 3rd Line Center for the Leafs replacing Bozak.
The offer of Komorov + Aaltonen is probably too much for Jarnkrok and so a Neilson + Aaltonen for Jarnkrok does the deal.
The reason why Bozak has to be traded is to be a balance for a $4 MM + defenseman. The good news there is a strong demand for Centers.
The big trade for Barrie and Landeskog for Gardiner+Carrick+ Bozak+Leivo+Sparks.
Than after the first two trades. There in lies the last big trade and that is JVR being traded to Nashville, Carolina or Minnesota for another defenseman.

Bozak + Carrick for David Savard
Komorov for Jarnkrok
Leafs send out $15.4 MM in monies and receive $18 MM. Still remain under the cap by $2 MM.
Leafs bring up Dermott for Carrick and Kapannen for Leivo. Opens position immediately Jarnkrok replaces Bozak as a 3rd line C.
Marleau with Jarnkrok and Brown
Landeskog replaces JVR on LW . Landeskog Kadri and Marner.

Leafs should sign JVR. If they trade for RHD whoever it may be:) then begin with Leivo, Brocks and a 3rd rd pick 18 and a 4th rd pick in 19.

Bozak can get a late 1st and a mid prospect. He's better than Hanzel whom Arizona got a 1st and a 2nd from Minny last year.

Leafs say no right away. Marner for an average prospect, another average player, a late 1st rounder and a 2nd? Replace Marner with Bozak and that package is more believable.
