Would a deal centred around Bozak for Sergachev work? Montreal gets a centre who has found success with skilled wingers and Toronto adds a skilled defender with the potential to jump into the top 4 by the end of the season. Montreal has depth on the blue line and needs offence. Toronto could throw in some of their wing depth such as Rychel or Leipsic. Thoughts?

Leafs need a RHD to play in first pairing with Reilly. If we're going to trade Bozak or JVR best to try and get just that.

Juulsen is a big bodied RHD that the Leafs could try and target.

He would be a good prospect to consider. We all seem to believe any defenseman would have to be a right hander. I took a look at the flyers roster for fun. One right hander. Just putting that out there for thought.

Like the trade, helps both teams by addressing their needs. Both Juulsen and Sergachev are listed as RHD, although Sergachev shoots left. Both are big bodied and look to be NHL ready. Would slot nicely into the 3rd pairing with the potential to move up with time and experience. Personally would prefer Sergachev as he is a brute in his own zone, something the Leafs could use. Trade would also open up the 3C slot for a certain winger.

We talk about Right Hand shots, because that is what the Leaf lack. The Leafs do have LHD prospects as well.

Can we trade for Ryan suter then? He's American so probably won't cost more than a 7th round pick where they can pick a big strong Canadian boy.

One less point than doughty this year. One more point than Weber. I would say slightly better than 50/ 50. And on defence rocking a 53% Corsi. When Gardiner is on the ice the leafs are a much better team and if you watched some playoff hockey you'd see he did a pretty damn good job matching up against the caps best. Hockey's changing man get with the program.
