Will isn't ready. Goalies aren't like other skaters. Someone like Sandin can go back and forth but goalies need longer to develop and tend to turn into busts when rushed.
I really disagree hutch is the issue everyone sees him as. Mathews, Marner and Nylander just tend to disappear sometimes for an entire periods or games. I'm assuming Babcock but not actually sure why it's happening right now. I'm not the biggest Marner fan but he looked a lot better last year than this mess on display. Need to clean it up some how and very soon it well be Babcock's head rolling for this one.

What l don't understand is the amount of money spent on Mathews and he can't even play a 83 game season because he will burn out. l sometimes hear people compare him to macdavid lol mathews is no where near the caliber player macdavid is. l would trade mariner mathews nylander for macdavid But do you realy think Edmonton is that stupid. mathews after he got his money he laughed so hard on the way to bank his pants fell down. And mariner just runs in circles wondering where he will spend his money lol.

They have the talent still and I'm sure they will string some wins together at some point. a lot of strong teams haven't started badly this year. SJ and Tampa two notable ones.
Not sure what's going on with Marner he I have never believed is as good as our fan base believes but he is a very talented guy. He, Mathews and Nylander do kind of look like they are skating in circles wondering where to spend their money half the time and other times show what they can do.
