To leafs
Virtanen
Juolevi
Lind

For
Nylander

2 solid prospects and a guy with right change can become good...

No studs now but the possibilities are their..Canucks get another offensive threat

Very underwhelming return overall.

I would consider Juolevi in some trade.

Juolevi might be a real stud. He’s one if the highest rated defensive prospects going. Tearing up the AHL. He’s a virtual guaranteed top 4 defenseman. He would be the prize here.

Virtanen playing beside Kadri on third line could realy turn it around. Such high expectations on him when he was drafted. Maybe on a team that has more depth and provides him with quality linemates he will finally breakout.

I like this proposal. Juolevi alone is what makes this trade so interesting. If Lind makes it and Virtanen turns it around, Leafs could hit a home run here. And I think Vancouver would make this trade too. Nylander gives them an immediate and effective offensive force, without gi giving up anyone of te current roster. I think this is one of the better proposals floated on here in a while.

Very underwhelming answer even for you Rocket9.

Good trade. Canucks may be reluctant but very good imo.

The return is good, but not for the Leafs.

Virtanen to date, is a flop; was picked way too high in the draft. Should have been a late 1st rounder at best. His production every year to date just proves that - 4 years later.

Juolevi is a nice piece, but he is LD. The requirement for the Leafs is RD. (Unless you want to add to the deal and ship them Gardiner - Please do. )

Lind has promise, but hasn't had the chance to show anything at the higher levels and he is RW which doesn't help our current cause.

This is not the right return for a top C/ RW with 60+ points in his 1st 2 seasons. Neither Lind or Virtanen are LW, which is what we need back, at least in futures for when Marleau is gone.

For other teams this might be a good return, but not for the Leafs.

Nylander for Pettersson+ might have been available back in the summer, but that's gone now. Timing is everything.
