Not sure why you would want to trade Kadri and Reilly?

Reilly in his prime

Kadri is a defensive center that can score goals and contract is good.

And a first


Spezza is not the same player anymore. Very good chance he gets hurt

Heiskenan is your prize here but Reilly is our best defenceman. He still needs couple years to be really good.

Faksa is great defensively but not as good as kadri's offence.

2nd trade.

I would hate to let Hyman go. He really is an imortant guy out there.

Ya I don’t think we traded Reilly and Gardine, 1 is fine, but with Reilly’s awesome contract I would expect a bit more from dallas and I wouldn’t make this trade.

What I have been doing the last few proposals is simple: we downgrade our 3C in order to upgrade our defense and depth. I’m bringing in younger and cheaper guys with huge upside.

Originally I was going to propose Jenner and Carlsson, but I took Spezza as a cap dump in the Dallas trade, so didn’t have a spot open for Jenner.

I really love columbus deal. Always have liked Folignos style. Imagine keeping Kadri and having him and Foligno as checking line.

Dallas is a deal to improve future but Toronto in win now.

Can we do a 3 team deal same teams

Toronto gets
Foligno, Spezza and Johns

Dallas gets
Gardiner and Milano

Columbus gets
Faska and Kapanen

Toronto gets more defensive and gritty and take on 1 bad contract for 1 year
Dallas gets LHD they want plus young speedy forward and unload bad contract
Columbus gets more cost efficient.

Liljegren and Heiskenan are two of the best defense prospects in the world. The two of them together would be dominant for the next decade.

I don’t think Dallas would make that trade. They would need a center coming in to replace possible future Selke winner Faksa.
