I am not a NYLANDER hater, he has good offensive production but his biggest weakness is his defence and we are a bad defensive team giving up late goals to blow the game. Anderson is saving our d.

Agree with Lab. I wouldn't do this trade tho. In time Nylander will be way too valuable.

Be careful with Trouba guys. I think that you have to look at the character and attitude of the player not just his physical skills.

I would shy away from him - also, he wants to play in the USA and not Canada.

I would prefer a more Defensive player like Hamonic for NYI. I think he would be more suited to what the Leafs are lacking.

Your thoughts?

I agree completely with you, we need a good shutdown guy which Hamonic would be perfect, and we can probably snag him from the Islanders for a decent price
