How far along are we in our rebuild as of right now. Will stamkos come? Will Mathews get drafted by Toronto?

Over the summer I beleive we will acquire stamkos (even though McKenzie thinks buffalo. what a douchebag). I truly believe out luck can't be bad enough not to get 1st overall. Mathews! If we get that our team will be in good shape.

I figured reimer won't stay in Toronto, because of the way he's been treated over the years.

Hiller would be relatively cheap.

Kadri will be moved 100% if we get Matthews and Stammer. Nylander playing with two 3rd and 4th liners is insulting to him. Lol

NO to STAMKOS.
Why waste that money on someone who's production has slowly been going down. I'd rather sign Tavares for 9-10 million that STAMKOS for 12.5 +++
Tavares will be available July 1, 2018 and by then Babcock will have integrated many of the Marlies like Nylander, Hyman, Soshnikov, Kapanen, Brown, Löov and Valiev. Zaitsev will have adjusted to the NHL, Rielly will be on the verge of stardom and Marner and whoever we select this June will be tearing up the league.

Rumor is many of the Islanders don't like the new set-up, having to practice on the Island then travel to Brooklyn to play.

If he signs at 10 mil that's fine. More than that no thank you. Kills us the moment our youngsters need to be resigned (see Tampa's issues).

I'm torn but would love to see a home star in a Leafs jersey;)
