Might be a little too crazy but...

Arizona: Gardiner, Bracco, 1st 2017, 2nd 2017, Carrick

Arizona: OEL, Hjalmarsson(50% retained)

Would not happen but wouldn't mind it.

2.) 02 Nov 2017 15:28:56
Yotes wouldn't start a conversation without the names of NYLANDER or Marner or else they'll hangup the phone laughing.

3.) 04 Nov 2017 19:50:44
Leafs, are still laughing.

MIN: Gardiner, Bracco, 2nd 2017

TOR: Brodin

Minny would have to add there least valuable prospect or roster player as they are at 49 contracts

Maybe Toronto changes the 2nd to a first?

The wild add; brodin is better defensively and would help transition the puck better; but gardiner is money in the offensive zone and can qb the pp, brodins contact is nice at 4.1 until 21, so that's a wash. Bracco will be a top six everyday NHL player but it's going to take him a few years,
Wild add a number two or third best prospect pick stays the same possibly kunin or greenway.

NSH: JVR, Bracco/Kapanen, 2nd 2017

TOR: Ekholm, Eeli Tolvanen

They'd probably need a bottom pair D back to keep depth. I'd say Carick instead of a 2nd.

TOR: Calvin de Haan

NYI: JVR

Both expiring UFA. If they could lock up de Haan long term at a reasonable cap hit, he would be a good fit for Reilly or Gardiner as they can show off a little more of their offence.

Helps torontos D a bit more if they make the playoffs. If it doesn't turn out well and they plan on keeping JVR, they can sign him in the off season.

Also gives NYI more scoring ability to throw in with Johnny T.

Toronto may need to add as Hamonic went for a lot more but he also had years on his contract left.

Straight up 1 for 1 who are both expiring UFAs

And marner is a more complete player already than jvr will ever be, sorry but it doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't get your point.

krh27

1.) Nah, I don't think they made a mistake. Brennan is utter garbage playing for Chicagos farm team

He is 7 games into his 2nd NHL season. He will be fine.

How is bozak bad defensively? He is the best faceoff guy they have. He is key for penalties and key faceoffs in the offensive zone and defensive zone. Trading bozak would be a mistake at this point.
