I just can't see colmbus dealing their 3 best defencemen for outside of rielly defencemen who could barely crack cleavelands roster.

Johnsson for anderson is pretty even

Nylander and liljegren just don't make up the differance of getting what is offered.

Reilly for Jones is pretty close. I like Reilly more because of obvious reasons. Anderson for Johnsson isn’t far off. So that leaves Nylander, Barrie, Ceci, Liljegren for Savard and Werenski. Nylander+Liljegren and/ or a pick might get you Werenski. But now you have nothing to offer for Savard.

It’s not like the deal is heavily tilted in Leafs favor. You’ve given Columbus some really good players here. But you are asking for basically their entire defense corps back, No team will trade you their three best defensemen.

If you look around the league not a lot of teams have “tough” teams I think where this ends is Babcock a coach is hired to come in a lay out a system and have his team execute that system Babcocks is simply try and out skill everyone he never changes anything so there’s literally no room for improvement we could use a few bigger guys but it comes down to the fact that Toronto need to come up with a better system then what they are currently running.

I agree it is light on the Leafs side, maybe if the Leafs added Dermott. or if Savard was taken out of the deal.
