Nobody is trading you a 1st for a guy who was taken in the 2nd and has yet to prove he can stay healthy and play real NHL minutes. If they can find a team willing to pay that, take it.

If Robertson is truly a ready now top line winger capable of 30+ goals, why would the Leafs trade him for a draft pick? They would keep him because he is cheap and can score 30.

He may get traded simply because he is a B/ B+ prospect that may or may not work out. I think they may get a 2nd for him from a rebuilding team that has lots of draft picks (Arizona) . He may be added in a package for a player. That is likely the best case scenario for Robertson.

Agree with RLF…. If Robertson is what you say he is, you aren’t trading him. Not sure how you can say he is better than Bunting. Again, he has proven NOTHING in the NHL. He COULD turn out better than Bunting. But right now, he’s not.

mackin, robertson is going to the marlies to get his legs going and prove he can stay healthy. hes going to be rusty, this gives him more time to get up to speed.

as for trade value, hes hasn't proven the he is worth a first. people arent going to give you must for someone who has an injury history like depietro.
