Tor. gets 2 more years of control at 5.5m and he will score 30+ every year in TO. Love his tenacity and effort.

I love Konecny, as others have said.

He's a great player that's had some serious injury problems. I'd probably be looking for retention in the deal (maybe get it down to 4.5) even if it requires adding more. Too much risk otherwise.

I’m not quite sure why knies is being put on a pedestal here, there’s 2 players on his own team that are younger than him and have a lot more points…. I don’t think he’s gonna be that good and is being over valued by the organization.

Had our brilliant GM, Kyle Dubas not traded down with the Flyers to eventually select Travis Dermot & Jeremy Bracco, Travis Konecny would have been a Leafs now.
Even Konecny was surprised he wasn’t a Leaf as Leaf management had interviewed and talked with him on numerous occasions both at the Combine and prior to the draft.
But of course, our GM is smarter than the other 31 GM’s in the league.
