So here is a trade idea just cause Dubas said he was not looking for a goalie....trade might not be complete, feel like Leafs have to add...let me know your thoughts

Leafs trade:
Murray
Kerfoot
2013 1st Round pick

Canucks trade:
Demko
Garland (1.5mil Retained)

Leafe get a goalie upgrade who apparenly worked with our current goale coach, maybe he can turn him around and a better choice on LW for 2nd line.

Vancouver gets a 1st pick,and gets rid of Garland as there were rumors they might buy him out, this would be a cheaper option than that and get the cap space back when Kerfoot's deal expires and then again once Murray's does next year.

again what do we need to add...is it Woll...or someone else? or is this just a bad idea all around...lol

@RLF I did say the trade was not complete. was just having some fun on a position no one really talks about and wanted to see what others though would need to be added. of course Murray would have to aive his no trade if he did what more would we have to add.

Loxley. I know you said about what would the adds be. Problem is, it is tough to judge because it seems Van doesn't want to rebuild, they want more of an aggressive retool. Just my opinion, but if I'm retooling, I'm not trading my number 1 goalie and taking back Murray. I am also not wanting to retain on Garland. I think the add would be substantial to make the deal as it stands work. No idea off the top of my head what that might be.

I would be willing to trade Leafs (2013 - 1st round pick) for Demko.
For Leafs 2023 - 1st round pick, NO!

If Leafs target a goalie then I would hope it is Vegmelka being included in an trade with Arizona for Chychrun with Murray’s salary being part of the cap hit going back.

@RLF. dunno what van is doing. if it's as you said then ya I agree I would not trade demko. as for the garland retention only basing that on the rumour that they thought about buying him out last season and might again this end of season as they are desperate for cap space. that same article said however it would be cheaper to retain like 25% than to buy him out.
