I feel like there is a way to pry tkachuk out of Ottawa, and the longer this goes the more it might be nylander and kerfoot for brown and tkachuk?

St Louis won't be able to afford both Tkachuk brothers under the cap.
Brady wants at least $8 million and Mathew will likely want a little more than his brother.
From what I read, term and money are less of a problem than bonus money and upfront money (signing bonus) for Brady's deal.

@WB49. Money shmoney. They want to go to STL, so that is just a minor detail. Does it matter that just to qualify Matthew at end of season it is $9M? Of course not. Does it matter that Brady will likely want his bridge deal structured similarly? Of course not.
