Pittsburgh trades Murray, Marino

If Andersen flops in the playoffs again, we get rid of him. Toss him for a pick or whatever we can. Bring in a proven winner on Murray and a great young RHD.

Worst trade ever. First off spell his last name right and second and Toronto wouldn’t want Matt Murray because he’s not as good as people think and it would be a huge downgrade over Andersen so bad trade.

This trade doesn't replace andersen with murray so no downgrade. It actually replaces campbell with murray which is an upgrade due to an andersen-murray tandem can be a 45-37 split instead of an andersen-campbell split of 57-25 split.

The only way murray replaces andersen after this trade is if or when andersen fails come playoff time.

You get 1 season of a great tandem. Either way the following summer 1 goalie gets dealt for a mid round pick.

Andersen succeeds he gets extension and murray dealt
Andersen fails leafs keep murray and deal andersen

Pretty straight forward

Rielly for marino,1 year of a great tandem and a future mid round pick

Not so great looking at it this way

What happens to campbell.

I love how this site is running with this guy is 100% tanner. The idea of someone supporting Tanners view points is that farfetched. I can't remember what the user name was before but I remember there was another on this site that was only here for about a month that I was pretty sure was Tanner as well.
